Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their greatest potential with the right supports in place.
When your child needs additional educational support, understanding the special education process can feel overwhelming. Evaluations, Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs), Section 504 Plans, accommodations, services, and school meetings can involve complex information and important decisions that impact your child’s
educational experience.
At Sarah Ancell LLC, I provide compassionate, educational, andnon-legal special education advocacy services to help families understand the process, prepare for school conversations, and confidently advocate for their child’s unique needs.
My goal is to help families feel informed, prepared, and empowered while promoting positive collaboration between parents and school teams.
Your child’s journey matters. Your voice matters. You do not have to navigate the special education process alone.
Many parents know when something is not working for their child but may feel unsure about what questions to ask, what resources are available, or how to effectively communicate their concerns.
Sarah Ancell LLC supports families by providing guidance and advocacy throughout the special education journey, including:
✓ Understanding evaluations and educational records
✓ Preparing for IEP and Section 504 meetings
✓ Reviewing goals, accommodations, modifications, and services
✓ Organizing parent concerns and priorities
✓ Strengthening communication with school teams
✓ Understanding special education processes and terminology
✓ Supporting transition planning for future goals
Through education, preparation, and collaboration, families can become confident partners in their child’s education..
At Sarah Ancell LLC, advocacy is built on the belief that every child deserves to be understood, supported, and given meaningful opportunities to succeed.
I believe effective advocacy begins with:
Understanding
Helping families make sense of evaluations, documents, services, and educational decisions.
Preparation
Providing tools and strategies so parents feel confident participating in meetings and conversations.
Collaboration
Encouraging respectful partnerships between families and school teams.
Student-Centered Support
Keeping the child’s strengths, needs, goals, and future opportunities at the heart of every decision.
